Free Hearing Screening to be offered at Logansport Memorial Hospital

If you’re having trouble hearing, you’re certainly not alone. Nearly 36 million Americans develop some form of hearing loss, and it’s often the result of normal daily living. Perhaps you enjoy listening to loud music, or work in an environment with loud machinery. Age and heredity are major contributors as well.

But hearing loss can affect anyone at any age. Because of this, hearing screenings are one of the most commonly-used ways to evaluate your hearing for health or loss. Logansport Memorial Hospital will be offering free hearing screenings from 9 am – 12 Noon on Friday, August 1 at the LMPN Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Office. Screenings will be performed every 15 minutes.

Certified audiologist Stacey Shilts, MSCCC-A, will be conducting all of the hearing screenings provided.
This screening is open to all ages.

Registration for this free screening is required by calling the ENT office at (574) 753-2222. The office is located inside Medical Office Building East at Logansport Memorial Hospital, on the lower level in Suite 15.
